X (Formerly known as Twitter) decided to remove the Bitcoin emoji from #Bitcoin hashtags.

This change interestingly coincides with the Bitcoin Conference this week held at Nashville, Tennessee featuring Donald Trump, the Former president of the United States and nominee for the upcoming election, who has confirmed that he will speaking at the conference.

#Bitcoin emoji was part of the reminiscence of the old twitter, which was also one of the few organizations that recognized Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency in its infancy.

All other hashtag emojos are removed as well and X is yet to provide any reasonable explanation for their removal. Was the removal due to legacy codebase changes or part of bigger updates is yet to be seen, stay tuned.
