In a surprising turn of events to absolutely no one, Craig’s website now displays a legal notice that he is infact Not Satoshi and has been dishonest in his claims.
On 20 May 2024, Dr Craig Steven Wright was found by the High Court of England and Wales to have been dishonest in his claims to have been the person behind the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto (the creator of Bitcoin).1
He also posted it on his X account.
Craig Steven Wrigh is originally from Australia computer scientist and businessman who at the height of his career worked at Kmart and the Australian Securities Exchange (wonder how that happened)
In December 2015 Wired and Gizmodo reported that he may have been the creator of bitcoin, and all things went down for him from here, with his home being raided by Australian federal police to the High Court of England and Wales prohibiting him from making the claims.
Suing people for libel was one of his favorite pastimes so its yet to be seen whether he hides again from the public or goes back to suing people for libel.
